MAPS AND DIRECTIONS
Eardisland is situated approximately 5 miles west of Leominster and 14 miles north of Hereford. Birmingham airport is about 67 miles.
From Leominster (5 miles), follow the signs to Rhayader (A44). In Leominster you should come to a set of traffic lights at cross roads; you need to proceed up the hill leaving Bengry’s garage on your right. After about 1 mile you will see a Morrison’s supermarket on your left (this is a good reference point if you get lost and ask directions). At the Morrison’s roundabout keep straight on. After about ¼ mile there is a road sign indicating Eardisland to the right, then a ‘Y’ fork marked left to Rhayader (A44) and Brecon (A438) at Baron’s Cross public house on the left. Fork right here at the lorry garage LEAVING THE A44 and following the signs to Arrow Bank Caravan Park (not us!)
Carry on for approximately 4 miles through the hamlet of Lawton, and straight on at Lawton crossroads, following signs to Arrow Bank Caravan Park.
On entering Eardisland, pass the caravan park entrance on your right. About 100 yards on from the 30 m.p.h. signs you will find a small lay-by to your left. Immediately opposite, and next to a black-and-white house, there is a turning to your right. Take this, then taking the first left (only about 20 yards) through a gated driveway and along a private drive. There is an ARROW BANK sign at the top of the gate.
Go to the end of this drive. Please park in front of the thatched double garage.
From Hereford, take the A4110 north via Canon Pyon. Keep on this road until you reach a staggered cross roads with Leominster marked to the right. (Ignore the road marked to Eardisland, left, at a Y fork about 5 miles after Canon Pyon). Go straight over and keep on this road for about two miles to Lawton Cross. At the crossroads turn left. Eardisland is about two miles further on, then follow the instructions above.
If in doubt, ask in the Cross or Swan!
