Arrow Bank is
situated by the River Arrow at the heart of the picturesque village of Eardisland on the 'black and white' trail.
Having
undergone extensive restoration, Arrow Bank offers accommodation of a very high
standard. The house is quiet and
off-road private parking is provided, as is telephone and internet access.
We have just
two double rooms, each with ample storage, colour television, radio, hairdryer,
tea/coffee facilities, basket of local information and a luxury en-suite
bathroom.
The Orangerie overlooks the River Arrow. Breakfast - continental or full English - is
served in a farmhouse style kitchen at a time to suit you. Rates are from £32.50 per person per night.
Within a couple
of minutes’ walk of Arrow Bank there are: two pubs, both serving meals; the
Dovecote - free and with a museum; Tea Rooms - teas, cakes, cards, books and
gifts; Tea Gardens by the river, and the Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin -
with an excellent exhibition from spring to autumn.
This is an
ideal place to enjoy a quick break, or a longer stay – and to discover the
rural charm, scenery and gastronomic delights of Herefordshire and the Welsh
Marches. Perfect for relaxation, the
area is of extraordinary natural beauty and steeped in history. Modern-day visitors to the Marches can spend
lazy days exploring churches, cathedrals, castles, stately homes and
restaurants located along the border and the towns and cities not far away.
Arrow Bank is about 7 miles from the Welsh border, 5 miles from
Leominster and 14 miles from the city of Hereford.
